About Us
Founder and President, Richard Valentine, P.E. established Advantage Engineering Technologies in 2003. Our goal is to provide quality services to our valued customers in various fields including Commercial Construction, HVAC & MEP Contracting, Industrial and Manufacturing. Most of our services offered range from Shop/Coordinating drawings, Building Information Modelling (BIM), Pipe Fabrication Drawings and Design-Build / Design-Assist projects. However, we also specialize in HVAC design & drawings, Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing (MEP) Design, CAD Drafting and 3D Modeling.

Our Mission
We are licensed in multiple states including New York State, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Ohio and many others. Advantage Engineering has implemented the use of 3D BIM modeling to reduce their client’s cost of installation and construction by coordinating the installations of various contractors and subcontractors up front. We all but eliminate rework, expensive delays, and work-arounds during the process of this up-front planning stage.
Our drawings include MEP Coordination Drawings, Mechanical Drawings, Shop Drawings, MEP Design Drawings, HVAC Design Drawings, Duct Shop Drawings, Piping Coordination Drawings, Pipe Fabrication Drawings, Ductwork Layout Drawings, Basic CAD Drafting, Fabrication drawings, Sheet metal drawings, HVAC Shop Drawings, MEP shop drawings, Piping Design Drawings, MEP drawings, Mechanical Shop Drawings, Ductwork Fabrication Drawings, Sheet metal drawings, Engineered Product Drawings, Manufacturing Drawings, MEP Design Drawings, BIM Models & 3D BIM Modelling. Mechanical drawings, HVAC drawings, Pipe drawings & MEP drawings are mostly done for the construction industry, while our Product Design & Development Services, Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Structural Analyses are typically for the Industrial & Manufacturing sectors.

Together with Product development and design, we utilize Finite Element Analysis (FEA), which is sophisticated computer analysis software that calculates stresses and strains on products that we develop. We also utilize FEA to help determine the design modifications to meet the new conditions required for a product.
We also do 3D Building Information Modeling (BIM) and coordination drawings for HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning) and Plumbing. BIM is the process involving the generation and management of digital representation of physical and functional characteristics of a facility. It is a shared knowledge resource for information about a facility, forming a reliable basis for decisions during its life-cycle, from the early conception to demolition.
